​​Vanessa Richardson is the sideline reporter for the Houston Rockets on Space City Home Network, Houston’s regional network.  She also covers the NBA and WNBA on ESPN as a sideline reporter and host.

Previously, Vanessa hosted a sports talk radio show for the ESPN radio affiliate in Houston, serving as one of few women to drive a weekday sports radio show in a major market. She also appeared on national NBC broadcasts covering motor sports, served as a pregame and postgame host for MLB, and spent two years as a sports anchor/reporter for the NBC affiliate in Houston. ​

She has covered the Super Bowl, the World Series, the Kentucky Derby, MLB All Star weekend, the NFL Combine, and the Indy 500 for various media outlets. ​
